Jamie Huizinga

Research Assistant
University of Michigan, 2018
BS in Cell & Molecular Biology

Current Projects: OAPol, TeMPO, ORBIT, AViKA, and STARs
Contact Information:

Jamie’s role in the TeMPO trial involves recruiting patients in clinic, coordinating with three other medical centers that are a part of the trial, and incorporating quantitative sensory testing into the trial. She was a part of launching ORBIT, a registry of patients with osteoarthritis, which currently is scheduling follow-up visits for its first participants. For the OAPol project, Jamie works on validating the model and investigating the societal costs of opioids for people with knee osteoarthritis. Jamie has been a part of concluding the questionnaire collection stage of the AViKA/ STARs projects.

Liz Stanley

Liz Stanley

Research Assistant
Princeton University, 2018
BSE in Chemical & Biological Engineering

Current Projects: OAPol and SHielD
Contact Information:

Liz works on the OAPol Project and the SHielD Study. She facilitates data collection for SHielD. For OAPol, she is involved in a project investigating the cost effectiveness of antibiotic use prior to dental appointments to prevent prosthetic joint infection among patients at high risk of infection. She also works on a project that aims to characterize the burden of osteoarthritis in the US population. She mentors and assists the other OAPol research assistants in their projects.
